Matters needing attention when feeding the glass lined reactor
Glass lined reactors are mainly used for the production and processing of chemical materials. There is a certain degree of danger during the use process. In order to ensure that everyone can use the equipment safely, let me introduce to you some points that you should pay attention to when adding materials. Points:
(1) When adding materials, always check whether the agitator bolts in the glass lined reactor are tightened and cannot be loosened to prevent the nuts and bolts from falling into the reactor. Tools etc. are not allowed to fall into the kettle.
(2) Reduce the large temperature difference between the material and the wall of the glass lined reactor to prevent the internal stress caused by the large temperature difference caused by the temperature difference between the hot kettle and the cold material, which affects the service life of the equipment.
(3) The raw materials used in the glass lined reactor must be inspected in detail for each batch without any other impurities. In particular, it is forbidden to entrain metal or debris or hard pieces into the kettle, otherwise the enamel will be easily damaged. For example, several times, small iron nuggets and iron filings were contained in the citric acid raw material bags used for the production of sodium citrate. Fortunately, after inspection of each bag of raw materials, the feeding was stopped in time, otherwise it would damage the enamel and cause the product to be unqualified and huge losses.
In short, in order to ensure safety, when adding materials to the glass lined reactor, we must pay attention to the above mentioned ones to avoid potential safety hazards.
